I always remind my clients that we’re not here to force your kids into stiff, perfect poses! I let them be themselves. If they want to pick up sticks, throw rocks, or run around, that’s exactly what we’ll capture. I work around your children’s moods and energy because their feelings are just as important as the photos. I always say it’s so much better to have images of your kids genuinely having fun than ones where they look grumpy from being posed for an hour straight. Once they’re happy and settled, I’ll always try to grab a couple of more traditional photos, but most of my style is candid and focused on those real moments.
