PHASES is a body of work that explores the profound connection between girlhood and nature. It reflects on how many young girls feel deeply intertwined with the natural world and how women can rediscover their younger selves through this bond. Inspired by personal experiences, this piece draws from memories of time spent in wilderness — moments of awe and admiration that faded with adulthood. Through conversations with other women who shared similar journeys, PHASES was developed to capture the process of reconnecting with nature, rekindling the wonder of girlhood, and rediscovering a sense of self.
